deSales (Gill) Pellegrino

deSales Pellegrino (Gill) passed away on January 22, 2023.

Born June 22, 1935, deSales was the daughter of the late Joseph Michael Gill and Grace Gill (Shannon) in Philipsburg, PA.

She graduated from Philipsburg High School and attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and Peirce Business School in Philadelphia, PA.

deSales was a legal administrative assistant with Ballard Spahr LLP for 28 years before her retirement.  She was a life member of the Main Line Mothers of Multiples, where she served several terms as president.  She was a member of the church choir at Holy Cross Church in Springfield, and later sang in the Bellingham Silver Bells Choir in West Chester, PA.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony A. Pellegrino, loving mother to Nancy Andrus (Gary) and Amy A. Pellegrino. She is predeceased by her children Eileen Grace and Constance Brown.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel Andrus, Eileen Andrus, Renee Andrus, and Dean Pellegrino-Short.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Wednesday, February 1, 2023, 6:00pm O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA 19064 and Thursday, February 2, 2023 9:30am Holy Cross Church 651 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA 19064 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30am Holy Cross Church.  Int. St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Norristown, PA.
