Wilma Mercy Dickerson Ciarrocchi, born June 8th, 1952, on the beautiful island of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at home on June 23rd, 2026, surrounded by her children and her grandchildren. A true reflection of deep love, comfort, and devotion that defined her life.
Wilma lived her life carrying the beautiful Aloha spirit with her, throughout her life, a quiet strength and warmth that touched all who knew her. No matter where life took her, she remained deeply connected to her Hawaiian heritage, allowing its love, grace, and sense of belonging to guide the way she cared for others. Her welcoming heart, generous spirit, and gift for storiesalways filled with laughter and meaning were qualities she lovingly shared and instilled in those around her.
She took immense pride in bringing people together through her cooking, especially through her comforting escarole soup and her famous red and white crabs. With every meal, she created more than food, she created memories, traditions, and a sense of togetherness that will continue to be passed down through generations, just as her kindness and love endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
Wilma was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Mercy Kamahana Ahlo Rivera Dickerson; her sisters, Thelma Dickerson, and Emma Jean Dickerson; her brother, Stephen Mardonada; and her grandson, Joseph Anthony Ciarrocchi.
Survived by her children: Dawn (Warren), Tina (Rick), Antoinette (her beloved husband, the late Steve), Michael, Louis (Lisa), and Stephen; her grandchildren: Kealana (Erik), Jared (Allie), Gabriel (Alaina), and Jessica (Tyler); her great-grandchild, Madelyn; her brother, Robert (Alana); her sisters, Yvonne (Randy), Stephanie (Paul), Barbara, Marion (Godfrey), and Janet; (her late husband Andy), and a host of dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
A Celebration of Life for Wilma will be held from 12:00 PM– 1:00 PM on July 10, 2026, at the Lazaretto Ballroom, 99 Wanamaker Avenue, Essington, Pennsylvania 19029.
A burial will take place in Kā ‘a‘awa, Oʻahu, later, bringing Wilma back to her beloved island home.
Hawaiian attire is warmly encouraged.
