William J. Robinson, Jr.

William J. Robinson Jr., 73, of Collingdale, PA passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021.

William was the son of the late William and Florence Robinson of Philadelphia. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends. William was a proud member of the United States Army and Veteran of the Vietnam War. William was an active member and former commander of Norwood VFW Post 7213 and anactive member of the American Legion, Elks and Moose Club. He enjoyed playing shuffleboard, pinnacle and loved watching the Phillies and Eagles. 

Beloved husband to his late wife Anne Mary. Loving Father to William (Tanya) of Aston, Anne Mary Palermo (Joseph) of Collingdale, Edward of Collingdale and John Joseph of New York, NY. William was the grandfather to his 9 Grandchildren Joseph, Kimberly, Michael, Edward Jr., Jessica, Leeanne, Erin, Hailee, and Kylee. Also survived by his sister Elizabeth (BettyAnne) of Villas, NJ. As well as friend and companion Annamarie (Dolly) Sweeny. William is predeceased by his siblings James, Helen, Florence, and Luke. As well as his Grandchildren James and Jamieanne. William is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Thursday, Sept. 9th 6pm and Friday morning 9am O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield PA 19064. Funeral Mass Friday 10am St. Joseph Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave. Collingdale PA 19023. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
