William McCarney Obituary

William Craig McCarney, 72 of Media, PA passed away August 1, 2022. He was the son of the late William R. and Gloria (O'Connell) McCarney.  Craig graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School where he played football. He was also a diver for the swim league. He was a graduate of Montgomery County Community College. Craig was a devout catholic and his father was the advertising manager of The Catholic Standard & Times.

Craig was a Financial Manager for several car dealerships in Philadelphia. He was great with numbers and loved cars. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was the most generous, selfless man ever known and would give you the shirt right off his back. All he wanted was to see others happy. Due to his selfless nature, even after life he was still able to give to others by being a donor. Craig spent the last 7 years living with his daughter, son in-law and grandsons. His greatest joy in life were his 3 grandsons and the highlight of his day would be making them breakfast in the morning.

Craig was the devoted father of Bridgid (Jeremiah) Shaffer; cherished poppop of David Richard, Joseph William, and Matthew James; loving brother of Christopher, Clifford, Carter, Corrine Harrison, Carolyn and the late Cheryl Luke.
