With heavy hearts, we share the sudden passing of Warren S. Seeley, 74, of Springfield, PA, who left us unexpectedly on November 21, 2024. Warren faced the challenges of frontotemporal dementia with primary progressive aphasia, a diagnosis he received in 2021, with remarkable strength and grace.
Warren lived a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. A proud graduate of Haverford High School’s Class of 1969, he loved reminiscing about his roots. He often shared treasured memories of growing up on Hastings Avenue. Staying in touch with former classmates and neighbors brought him immense happiness throughout his life.
For over 40 years, Warren built lasting relationships in the HVAC and plumbing industry. From Weinstein Supply and United Refrigeration to Pierce Phelps, Riley Sales, JenCyn, and as the owner of BCS Sales, his career was defined not only by hard work but by his genuine care for the people he met. Warren had a gift for turning customers into friends and making everyone feel valued.
He was known for his unwavering presence and support. Warren showed up for those he loved, whether cheering from the sidelines at games, clapping enthusiastically at performances, or celebrating milestones. He had a special way of starting conversations that brightened the day of everyone he met, spreading joy and kindness effortlessly.
Warren was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan, especially devoted to the Phillies. He rarely missed a game and took pride in sharing his season tickets with family, friends, and customers. His happiest moments were spent with his beloved wife of 49 years, Yvonne (nee Beltrante), cherishing Disney trips, a tradition that began on their honeymoon in 1975. Warren also loved working in his yard, feeding the birds (not the squirrels), and enjoying meals at his favorite local restaurants. He found joy in his camping days at Spring Gulch, where he loved connecting with friends both old and new. He had a soft spot for high school football, enthusiastically attending Friday night games in the Central League to cheer on the Fords and the Cougars.
Music and dancing brought Warren great joy. His family will always remember him singing along with John Denver and dancing with loved ones at every opportunity, his vibrant spirit lighting up every room.
Warren is survived by his devoted wife, Yvonne, and his adoring children, Christine and Brian (Mary Beth) Seeley. He was the proud Pop-Pop of Kevin, Talia, Graham, and Nina, whose accomplishments and laughter filled his heart with pride. Warren is also survived by his siblings, Ruth Wiedinmyer and Robert (Nancy) Seeley; his sister-in-law Bernadette (John) Goff; brother-in-law Joseph (Donna) Beltrante III; and mother-in-law Nancy Beltrante. He leaves behind many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruth (Almond) Seeley; his beloved grandparents Mary and Joseph (Bircher) Almond; and his sisters, Mary Ellen (Bill) Buddle-McKinley and Betty Lynn Clarke.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Warren’s life at O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064, with a Viewing on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 6:00 PM and Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Eugene Church, 200 S. Oak Ave., Primos, PA 19018. Interment will take place at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
