Vittoria Cutuli Obituary

Vittoria (Vicky) (nee Carrieri) Cutuli, 97, of Clifton Heights, PA, born May 8, 1924 in Bari, Italy, passed peacefully December 22, 2021. She was a War Bride, who married Orlando (Lanny) Cutuli of Philadelphia on June 16, 1945. She met Lanny in Bari while working for the Allies during WWII as an interpreter. Vicky then immigrated to the U.S. to be with her new husband in February of 1946. She was married to Lanny, the love of her life, for 66 years until his passing on March 25, 2011 at the age of 93.

Vicky had a long and storied life with two distinct and very different working careers. She worked for over 30 years as a waitress and a hostess for the Stouffers Restaurant, one of the more prestigious restaurants on the Mainline during its time. She was well liked by all and was regarded as one of their best employees receiving many distinguished awards for her outstanding customer service. She remained with Stouffers until their closing. Vicky finished her career in a very different way, working as a Sheetmetal Assembler for The Boeing Company. She worked for Boeing for almost 20 years, and again was highly regarded, receiving numerous awards for exceptional workmanship.

Vicky was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, as was her husband, and you could always count on the game being on at her house. She loved traveling, and took many wonderful trips with Lanny to Europe, Las Vegas and many other marvelous places. She loved getting together with the Cutuli clan and enjoyed all of the family parties for special occasions. Vicky was a very gracious person and always knew the right things to say to those she met, yet wasn't shy about telling you what she thought. She loved her entire family and they loved her, she will be sadly missed. Vicky is survived by her three children, Silvio (Carol), John (Deborah), and Rosemarie (Carl) Boyce-Higgins, her grandchildren, Christina Boyce, Jonathan (Katey) Boyce, Jeremy Higgins, Michael Higgins, Michelle (Raymond) Val, Andrea (Jerry) Gronski and 9 great grandchildren. Vicky was predeceased by both her husband Lanny and her grandson John Michael Cutuli.
