Virginia Lux Obituary

Virginia Lux, 79, of Collingdale, PA, passed away in her home on Saturday May 7, 2022.

Virginia “Ginny” Lux was the beloved wife of the late James Lux, Sr. and the daughter of the late John and Irene Napoli, born in South Philadelphia, PA.

Ginny was, without a doubt, a wonderful mother, a loving mom-mom and an amazing Gigi, her most cherished role of all. She was the backbone of her family and always made sure everyone around her felt loved and accepted. Virginia took great pride in her appearance and loved anything leopard print or gold. She worked hard her whole life and was proud of the legacy she created.

She was ever present for her family members, showing up for every event or milestone, no matter how far. She made each person in her life a priority and never failed to show her pride in their accomplishments. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Virginia was a proud Italian and Eagles fan, ready to cheer them on every Sunday with meatballs and gravy. Her favorite place to be was in the casino on the slot machines or at the beach listening to the waves and the seagulls. She had many great memories spending her summers at the Jersey Shore. No matter where she was, she was the life of the party.

She will be missed tremendously by all who knew her and will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends. After 10 years, she is now home with her best friend and husband, Jim, who has been waiting for her with a Tanqueray and Tonic in hand.

Loving Mother to James Lux, Jr (Diane), Lisa Schneider (Tom) and Juliet Margist. Cherished grandmother to James Lux III, Dennis Lux (Krista), Danielle White (Sam), Ashley Schneider (Seth), Renee Schneider (Jason), John Margist (Gina), Jeanine Opper (John), and Matthew Galambos. The best Gigi to Alice, Claire, Olivia, Owen, Myla, Jake, Bret, and one on the way. She was the sister of Andrew Napoli, Ron (Judy) Napoli and the late John Napoli. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Vicki Napoli.
