Victoria M. (Scirrotto) Mellina

Victoria Mellina, 99, Glen Mills, PA., passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Vee, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Philadelphia on August 23, 1924, to the late Emelia and Dominick Scirrotto. She was a 1942 graduate of John W. Hallihan Catholic Girls High School.

She was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Collingdale for over 71 years and recently moved from her home in Briarcliffe. 

Above all, she loved spending time with her family and celebrated them with her Sunday dinners.  She loved to bake, and her cookies were legendary. She loved to read.

She was the beloved wife of the late William Mellina and a devoted mother to her daughters, Barbara Morelli (Gerald) and the late Beverly Pasceri (Ronald); Cherished grandmother to Jennifer Bonomo (Michael), Jeffrey Morelli (Elizabeth), Maria Elena Raffaele (David), Ronald Pasceri, Renee Miller (Bayard), Lisa Pasceri and Gabrielle Williams (Blake); great grandmother to Nicholas and Penelope Bonomo, Jack, Ava and Kate Morelli, Lyla, Joseph and Thomas Raffaele.

Third oldest of eight children, she is also survived by her dear sister, Jane Lemerise. She was predeceased by six of her siblings.

Springfield Road  Springfield, PA 19064 and Tuesday, June 18, 2024, 9:30AM St. Joseph Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave, Collingdale, PA 19023 followed by to her Funeral Mass 10:30AM in the Church.  Int. SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
