Vema E. Palmer of Westbrook Park, Upper Darby Township, an active church member, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2022.
Born in Hallam (York County) PA, Vema was proud of her PA Dutch heritage.
She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clifton Heights, where she had been involved with the “Kids Closet” and the “Goodworks Circle.”
Vema loved animals, especially cats, dogs and horses. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed daily exercise at the Ridley area YMCA, where she was a member.
She was the daughter of the late David and Maggie (Hoffmaster) Snyder and mother of the late Gale Delana Palmer. Vema is also preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Hoover and Jeanave Sheffer.
Vema is survived by her daughter, Jill E. Lynch of Philadelphia, Pa, Son, David W. Palmer of Clifton Heights, PA, and Niece, Renee Seidenstricker of York, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Friday September 23, 2022 10:30AM St. Mark Lutheran Church, 435 Oak Ave. Clifton Heights, PA 19018 and to her Funeral Service 11:00AM in the Church. Int. Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
