Timothy Michael Peebles

Timothy Michael Peebles, 67, of Springfield, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Timothy was the son of the late Donald Wallace Peebles and Betty A. Peebles (nee Green) of Catawissa. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania;  December 31st 1954. He graduated from Sharon Hill High School, Class of 1972. He was a lifelong Delaware County resident.

Timothy worked for 30 years at and retiring from Pacifico Ford in Philadelphia, PA. He was a gifted and talented mechanic for profession and personal enjoyment his whole life.   An avid motorcycle enthusiast,  spending many hours on his prized Harley Davidson.  Always a devout Philadelphia Eagles fan, never missing a game. He enjoyed fishing over the Longport bridge in Ocean City, N.J., going to classic car shows, watching The Rifleman series, NASCAR racing and trips visiting his parents/siblings at Knoebels Amusement Park. He also loved spending time outdoors with the family, either in the backyard or out in nature. 

One of the most enduring memories of Mrs. Peebles was during a family trip to Ridley Creek State Park, he engraved in one of the trees in adoration to his loving wife:  TP + MP in a heart.  

He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Peebles (Edwards); Loving Father to Michael Peebles; Ann Marie Peebles; Marianne Peebles; Donna Peebles-Rivet (Chris); Timothy Peebles; and Danielle Peebles. Cherished grandfather to Alexis, Tyler, Michael Jr., Sarah, Anthony, Zoey, Shane, Aubrey, and Savannah. Also survived by his siblings Linda Duell (Brian), Roy Peebles, and Terri Lewis; his sister/brother-in-laws Donna Crawford, Diane Hanson, Dolly Price, Kenny and Joseph Edwards. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday June 2, 2022 9:30am St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
