Thomas J. Scott, Jr.

Thomas J. Scott, Jr. of Upper Darby, Pa. passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024. He was the beloved son of the late Thomas J. Scott, Sr. and Mary Scott of Drexel Hill, Pa. He graduated from The Vanguard School in 1984 and went on to obtain his associates degree from Delaware County Community College. Known for his warmth and compassionate heart, Tommy worked as a waiter for Ruby Tuesday restaurant in Springfield, Pa., where his kindness made him a favorite among patrons and colleagues alike. He was always ready to listen and provided encouragement and support to everyone he knew. Tommy had a great smile with an infectious laugh that brightened the room. He loved cooking, reading, and meeting new people. Tommy is survived by his sisters Mary Beth Scott and Dawn Scott Clark , several cousins and lots of friends and he is predeceased by his brother Stephen F. Scott and aunts Jane O’Donell {Jack), Patricia Murphy, and Caroline Terne {Frank}.
