Thomas M. DiSciullo, “Tommy D” to his family and friends, age 66, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, after an extended and courageous battle with several illnesses.
Thomas was the son of Edith R. Cataleno and the late Anthony M. DiSciullo, II.
Also survived by his brothers, Anthony M. (Kathryn) DiSciullo, III, Benjamin D. (Lucille) Cataleno and Steven S. Cataleno, Sister-in-Law Donna DiSciullo. He is predeceased by his Brother John E. DiSciullo, Joseph F. DiSciullo and Stepfather Samuel Cataleno. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, grand-nephew, grand-nieces, and cousins.
Tommy was employed by Acme Markets for 25 years and was known to have served his co-workers and community daily with a friendly smile and willingness to help.
A favorite past time was playing the ponies and slot machines at his favorite casinos. He looked forward to family outings and gatherings where many hours were spent playing cards, Bingo and Pokeno. Tommy enjoyed the holiday season, especially the New Year’s Day Parade with all its festivities. Whenever he was with family and friends, he provided plenty of smiles and laughter.
Tommy took pride in his appearance and was always in style as he appreciated fine clothing.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Saturday, November 20, 2021 9:30am St. Kevin’s Church, 200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield PA 19064, and to his Funeral Mass 10:30AM in the Church. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield PA 19064.
