Thomas P. “Tommy” Ford

Thomas P. “Tommy” Ford, 57, of Clifton Heights passed away peacefully at home on March 8th, 2023. 

Tom was the son of Ruth Mary Ford and the late Thomas Ford. He grew up in Clifton Heights and attended Catholic school until he graduated from O'Hara High School. He had a heart of gold, and left a lasting impression on anyone he met. His family was his world, and no matter what, he always raised his children to know how important family is, and made sure his grandchildren learned the same way. He enjoyed Rock music, and all the classics, and had the talent to pick up his guitar, and learn to play a song within minutes of hearing it and never read music notes. It was a talent that was rare, and it was amazing watching and hearing him play. He also had a love for Motorcycles, and had so many good memories riding his Harley. Tom was a proud, stubborn, strong man, in the best way possible. He would do anything for his family and the people he loved. He built a successful roofing company from scratch. And no matter how much time passed, anytime he drove by a building, he would point out to whoever was in the car and say " See that roof? I did that roof", as he smiled proudly. He was full of love, and the strongest man to ever live in his childrens eyes. Anyone who knew him, would agree, that he is one of the best men they would ever know. 

Beloved husband of the late Marlene Ford; loving father of Thomas C. (Jenna) Ford, and Tara Lynn (Nathan) Ford. Cherished Grandfather to Grandsons Luciano and Colton, and granddaughters Alexa Rae and Juliana. Survived by his sister Kim (Matt) McGonigle, and his nieces and nephews; Mason, Jordan, Austin, and Scotty. He is predeceased by his brother, Scott Ford. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Thursday, March 16, 2023 9:30 O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA19064 and to his Funeral Service 11:30am in the Funeral Home. Interment Private.
