It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas M. Delaney, 79, a beloved brother, father, grandfather, and friend on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at home surrounded by his children. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Tommy was the son of the late Daniel Delaney, Jr. and Mary (Moody) Delaney.
Tom lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. He retired from Vanguard in 2019. Tom enjoyed his summer vacations with his family in Sea Isle City and sailing trips all around the world with his sailing club but his most pure joy came from cheering for his grandchildren on the sidelines of a field.
In addition to his parents Tom was predeceased by his brother Dan. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Kevin, Brian (Shannon), Megan (Matt) and their mother Ann Delaney. Tom treasured his grandchildren, Brian,Jr., Finnegan, Harper, and Lincoln. He is also survived by a brother Jerry (Mary), and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Thursday, July 10, 2025, 9:30AM at Saint Kevin Parish, 200 W. Sproul Rd Springfield, PA 19064. Mass to follow 10:30 AM in the Church. Burial private.
