Thomas E. Daransky

Thomas E. Daransky, 73, of Springfield Delaware County, PA passed away peacefully at home on April 7th, 2021. Thomas graduated high school from Lincoln Junior Senior High School in Ellwood City, PA and was an Alumni of Penn State University Main Campus.

Thomas was a member of Holy Cross Church and also NARFE - National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. Thomas was an accomplished and dedicated man who worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Westinghouse for 15 years and the Department of Defense for 25 years. Thomas had a loving, nonjudgmental heart and a memorable sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and pets. Thomas also enjoyed being helpful as the “go to guy” for household repairs and was proud of his numerous handy gadgets.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Doreen Daransky (nee Ferraris); Loving Father of Laura Iverson (Benjamin). He is survived by his brother John Daransky and his wife MaryAnn of Monaca, Pa and also his sister Christine Vincent and her husband William of Ellwood City, Pa. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Joan Borrelli (Anthony) and Lynn Cross (James). He is predeceased by his parents John and Olga Daransky of Ellwood City, Pa.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Monday April 12th, 2021 9:30am Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Int.
