Thomas J. Coates

Thomas J. Coates, age 79, of Chickamauga, GA passed away peacefully on November 5th, 2021 after a brief illness.

Thomas was the son of the late William and Margaret Coates. Born in Philadelphia, he graduated from West Catholic High School in Philadelphia. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, pets, and reading history.

Loving father of Carol Coates of Havertown, Thomas Coates of West Chester, Virginia Coates of Downingtown and Jean Abraham of West Chester. Cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers William Coates of Downingtown, Robert Coates of Secane and his sisters Mary (Coates) Gaudioso of Sharon Hill and Kathleen (Coates) Scalia of Telford. Thomas is predeceased by his sister Margaret (Coates) McGinnis.
