Thomas J. Bunting, 66, of Clifton Heights passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2021 from complications of his stem cell transplant.
Tom was the son of the late Thomas A. and Bernice R. (nee Marrah) Bunting. He graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School. He was a life long member of Holy Cross Parish where he also was a sacristan for more than 30 years. He was “the beer man” for Schmidt’s Brewery right out of high school and then for Penn Distributors until his retirement after 27 years. He loved his dogs and granddogs and hanging with them sipping his coffee and listening to music in his gazebo. Family was the most important to him and he loved spending time with everyone. He also loved his yoga and walking his multiple miles a day.
Beloved Husband of Patricia (nee Altrogge). Loving Father to daughter Jacki, son Tommy (Amy), and daughter Kate. Cherished Grandfather to Kailey, Elyse, Olivia and Abigail. Devoted Brother to sisters Rita (Rick) Smith and Bernie Marinelli. He is also survived by many extended family who loved him dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Friday, January 22nd after 6pm, O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 and Sat.
