Thomas J. Brown, 85, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025.
Thomas was the son of the late Albert and Dorothy Brown and was born on December 30, 1939, and raised in Southwest Philadelphia. He spent the rest of his life in Drexel Hill with his family. He attended West Catholic High school and after graduating he proudly served in the United States Army. He was a dedicated truck driver for Preston Trucking Company and proud member of Teamsters local 470. After retiring as a truck driver, he continued his service to the community as a beloved Radnor School District bus driver for 13 years, safely guiding generations of students to and from school. He was also a proud member of the American Legion Manoa Post 667 in Havertown, Pennsylvania.
He was a man of deep Catholic faith and a devoted member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish for 52 years. A quiet strength in his family’s life, he embodied selfless love in all that he did, whether it was sitting on the beach with the breeze on his face, cheering on the Eagles, Phillies, or Notre Dame, especially alongside his sons, or simply enjoying the company of his loved ones, he always found joy in life’s simple pleasures. His legacy lives on in the countless memories shared by those who knew him and in the strong, compassionate family he helped raise. To know him was to love him and he will deeply be missed.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret C., “Peggy” Brown, and his brother, Albert Brown. He is survivedby his three children, Mary Jane (J. Lawrence) Belluscio, Kevin (Denise) Brown, and Christopher (Joanne) Brown and his loving sister Dorothy Sullivan. He was a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to one great-grandchild, each of whom he adored, loved, and supported endlessly. He is remembered by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
