Theresa (nee: Kramer) Peine-Stewart, 68, passed away peacefully in her home in Drexel Hill on March 22, 2025.
Born on July 1, 1956, Theresa dedicated her life to serving others, both in her work and in her everyday kindness. She was a proud member of the Collingdale Fire Company and spent many years as a waitress, a crossing guard for Collingdale, and an employee of St. Joseph Rectory. Most recently, she worked at Pete’s Pizza (formerly Drexel House Deli) until the very day she passed.
Theresa was a devoted Philadelphia sports fan who never missed a chance to cheer on the Phillies and the Eagles. She was a kindhearted, giving, and selfless woman, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Theresa’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Stewart, and her son, Gary Peine. She is survived by her loving children, Adrienne Rushmore and Gregory Peine; her siblings, Antoinette Brandt, Donna Weiss, and John (Butch) Kramer; her cherished grandchildren, Briana Peine, Kyle Brown, Gianna Callahan, Hunter Peine, and Skylar Peine; as well as her great-grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.
The family will be celebrating her life on Saturday March 29, 2025 at Glenolden American Legion, 35 S Glen Ave, Glenolden, PA 19036 from 2pm-6pm. All are welcome.
