T. Gregory "Greg" Gomeau

T. Gregory Gomeau, 71, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully in his home on November 1, 2025.

Born on November 19, 1953 in North Adams, Massachusetts, Greg was the son of the late George Gomeau and Dorothy Wilkerson Gomeau Bennett. He graduated in 1971 from Sun Valley High School.

In his young life, Greg was employed by Sun Ship as a welder and later worked as a financial planner for Waddell and Reed.  Eventually, Greg went on to purchase Budget Printing Center in Springfield, PA.  Learning every facet of the industry from the ground up, he ran it successfully for over 20 years.  Greg had a lot of pride in his work, taught hard work to his family, and thought of his many customers as friends.

An avid sports fan, Greg was most devoted to the St. Louis Cardinals.  His fandom was legendary for the late Stan 'the man' Musial.  At Christmas time, Santa took a backseat and oftentimes gifts from his favorite players appeared under the tree.  

Greg coined himself the greatest shortstop that ever lived.  Sharing stories of glory days with friends was a favorite pastime.  In more recent years, he enjoyed hearing about his grandchildren's sports accomplishments and couldn't help but to give coaching advice.

Greg loved to cook, entertain friends, and listen to Motown Music - sometimes claiming that Michael Jackson got his moves from him.

Greg is survived by his only daughter, Christa (JP) Musser, and grandchildren Allison and Andrew.  Greg is also survived by his sister Kathy Gomeau McNamara and brother John Gomeau along with many friends.  He is predeceased by his parents and brother, George.
