Stephen 'Cappy' Capobianchi

Stephen “Cappy” Capobianchi, 65, of Collingdale, PA passed away June 13, 2020 after a 3 year battle with cancer.

Devoted husband to JoAnn Capobianchi, they were inseparable, loved to travel and spend time with their family, he was a doting father to his 5 children; Renee Leicht, Steven Corcoran, Robin (Anthony)   DiGalbo, Niki (Jesse) James, Joanne (Tommy) Capobianchi;  Pop-pop to 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Carol Boudwin, Jimmy Capobianchi, Joy Doherty, Helene Mercanti, Mark Capobianchi and Wendy Galinas. He is predeceased by his parents, the late Felix and Helen (Martin) Capobianchi and his brother Bob Capobianchi.

Cappy was a graduate of St. Joseph in Collingdale, PA and Monsignor Bonner in Drexel Hill. PA.  He was a hometown guy, devoted husband, and father with scores of friends.  An avid sports fan, loved the outdoors, especially hunting trips with his Dad and brothers. He had a great sense of humor; he was the George Clooney of Collingdale. He was an amazing cook and loved to pass on his recipes to his kids and grandchildren, especially his signature Pasta Fagioli and homemade meatballs.
