Scott M. Dorrin, age 55, of Swarthmore passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on February 3rd. Scott was the son of the late George and Joyce Dorrin. He graduated from Ridley High School in 1983. He worked at USAirways for 24 years before starting his 13 years with The Boeing Company assembling the V-22 Osprey in Ridley Park, PA. These two careers led him to form numerous life-long friendships with his coworkers and his drive and dedication made him an exceptional mentor to many.
Much of Scott’s love was devoted to his family. Along with his wife and three daughters, Scott enjoyed spending time with his many nieces and nephews, especially his Goddaughters Laura and Harper. He was a lifetime member of the Folsom Fire Company. During his free time, he loved riding his motorcycle and four wheelers, and playing with his remote-control boats and cars. Anyone who knows Scott knows how proud he was of his collectables, sports memorabilia, and novelty gadgets he’s accumulated over the years.
Scott leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Christine; and his loving daughters Jessica, Taylor, Olivia, (their boyfriends Christian, Chase, and Allen) and fur baby Sophie. He is survived by his siblings, Mark (Linda), Dennis (Marge), Robert (Aura), and Lisa, as well as many brother and sister in-laws. He is predeceased by his brother Jesse.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, February 13, 2021 9:00am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 208 Milmont Ave, Milmont Park, PA 19033 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00am in the Church. Interment private.
