Roy G. Wood, Jr., born on April 23, 1943, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones at home. He was a devoted husband, stepfather, and grandfather, known for his kindness, warmth, and sense of humor.
Roy is survived by his beloved wife, Joan (Cassidy) Wood, and his loving stepchildren, Stefani Habich (Matthew) and Andrew Chilkatowsky (Maryann). He was a cherished grandfather to Tori Brown Gelnett (Matthew), James Brown (Alana), Riley Brown (Michaela), Andrew Chilkatowsky, Zachary Chilkatowsky, Charlotte Brown, and James Jeffrey Brown.
An avid fisherman, Roy enjoyed spending his spare time fishing in Cape May and Maryland. He was also an automobile enthusiast, often found reading car magazines during his downtime. Roy
was always quick with a joke, even if his audience had heard it before.
Roy's legacy will live on through his family and the many memories they shared. He will be deeply missed.
