Rosemary P. Sweet

Rosemary McGrory Sweet 63 of Hatfield, PA passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Saturday 10 October 2020

Rosemary is the daughter of the late Henry (Chick) and Catherine (Cass) McGrory of Springfield , PA. She graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School and Penn State College where she completed the Paralegal Studies program. During her career she worked for Harris and Kahn in Philadelphia, Stapleton, Cullen, and Culden of Delaware County, Scott Paper Legal Division, the Office of State Constable as an Investigator and Office Manager before becoming a Licensed Private Investigator in Montgomery County and using her skills to track down deadbeat parents and estate heirs.

She was a long time member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Hatfield where she organized the Memorial Day Parade for over 10 years. Her true passion was her family and extended family along with a variety of philanthropic causes.

Beloved wife of Stephen L. Sweet; Loving Mother to Sarah Catherine Sweet; Cherished Grandmother to Robert Bass and Amiya Savage. She was also a second mother to many others that included Samantha, Stephen, Sarah, Zach, Frankie, Rashaad, Steven, Steph, Cierra, Tony, Gina, Chris, Gloriana, Wendell, Scott, Brynne, Amber, Brad, Josh, and Rob and is also survived by her brothers Mickey, Timmy, and Richard. She is predeceased by her brothers Jimmy and Billy, Niece Sandy, and Nephew Matt who passed  before her. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, God children, and more.

Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 and Friday, October 16, 2020 9:30am Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd Springfield, PA and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Int. Private.
