Robert J. "Bob" Barth

Robert J. “Bob” Barth, age 82 of Media, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15th, 2026.

Bob was the son of the late Robert W. and Anne C. (McCaffrey) Barth and was born in Philadelphia. He graduated from West Catholic Boys High School. He was a US Army Veteran. Bob began his career at Firestone, where he met the love of his life, Eileen. They were married for 52 years and raised 2 children (Robert and the late Edward) Bob later worked as a computer analyst and following his retirement continued working as a manager for a transportation company. Bob loved going out to eat and hanging with his friends at the old Hennessy's restaurant. He also cherished summers spent boating with his family on the Delaware and Mullica Rivers.

Beloved husband of the late Eileen C. (Carney) Barth; Loving Father of Robert E. (Terry Orr) and the late Edward L. Barth (Staci Kramer). Grandfather to Jonathon (Jenni), Brandi, and Bobby; and his two great grandchildren Aubrey and Donovan. Also survived by his brother John Barth (Theresa); his sister Patricia Nish (Bob).

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 10am at O'Leary's Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield PA 19064, and his Funeral Service Tuesday 12pm in the Funeral Home. Int. Private
