Rita I. (Rath) Wolfe

Rita Irene (Rath) Wolfe, 82, of Drexel Hill, PA passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025.

Rita was the daughter of the late Kenneth Watson and Rita Marie (Mahoney) Rath and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She resided in her home in Drexel Hill her entire life. She was a member of the first graduating class of Archbishop Prendergast High School. She was a life-long member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish. She worked at Delaware County Memorial Hospital until her first child was born and then she dedicated her life to caring for her children. She loved spending time with her family, especially at the shore. She also loved cooking, baking and gardening. 

Rita was the beloved wife of the late Larry Lee Wolfe, with whom she shared 14 years of marriage, before he was taken from her in 1991. She was a loving mother to four children: Rita Irene Wolfe, Ann Marie Wolfe, Stacey Wolfe and Larry Kenneth Wolfe (Karen). She was a devoted Nan to four grandchildren: Christopher Liam Wolfe, Rylee Brielle Wolfe, Jayce James Wolfe and Harper Marie Wolfe. In addition to her parents and her husband, Rita is predeceased by her brother Kenneth Watson Rath.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Ave. Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment will be at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
