Rita Napolitan Obituary

Rita M. (Campobassi) Napolitan, 95, of Collegeville, PA (formerly of Morton, PA) passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024.

Rita was the daughter of the late Anthony and Assumpta (Angelo) Campobassi and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Philadelphia High School for Girls, and afterwards, attended a Philadelphia school for business. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Morton, PA, where she was a Eucharistic Minister. Rita sang in the parish choir and was a very talented pianist. She enjoyed sewing, making beautiful dresses and coats for her three daughters. She was a wonderful cook, hosting all the family gatherings. Rita also loved to play cards and hosted Pokeno nights for years with her group of dear friends.

In addition to Rita’s business and math skills, she worked in retail at Clover in Morton, PA, Strawbridge & Clothier in Delaware and for many years at Talbots, well into her eighties. Her years in retail afforded her the opportunity to exhibit tasteful high fashion wherever she went. She loved clothes, shopping and most of all, she loved being with her family. This made her the happiest.

Beloved wife of the late Walter Napolitan and the late Joseph Monzo; devoted Mother of Carol Ann (John) Wisnewski, the late Arlene Napolitan, Lynn Ann (the late Joseph) Pouser, Roxanne (Craig) Trujillo and Walter (Maryrita) Napolitan; cherished Grandmother of Chrissy (Kevin) Walsh, Jeffrey (Kristen) Wisnewski, Craig R. Trujillo (Kendall-fiancée), Jason (Sarah) Napolitan, Daniel (Jessica) Trujillo, Brett (Taylor) Pouser, Kaylah and Nicholas Napolitan, Connie Mendez and Wayne (Debbie) Pouser, cherished Great Grandmother of Stephen, Anna Marie, Gianna and Lia Wisnewski, Henry and Thomas Walsh, Isabella and Benjamin Trujillo, and Natalie Napolitan.
