Regina Urmson

Regina Urmson, 73, of Norwood passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023.

Regina was the daughter of the late Kathleen (Grogan) and LeRoy Urmson and was born in Darby, PA. She graduated from West Philadelphia Catholic High School for Girls.

Regina was a member of St. Gabriel’s Parish.  She retired after a long career at Independence Blue Cross.  More recently, she enjoyed working with her friends and the students at the Interboro School District, first as a crossing guard and then in the Transportation Department.  Regina also enjoyed travel and spending time with her loved ones, especially Elizabeth Becker, Maryann Walker and Larry Albertoli, and her best friend Betty Kollmar.    

Regina is survived by many loving family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Sat. October 21, 2023 10am St. Gabriel Church, 233 Mohawk Ave. Norwood, PA 19074, and to her Funeral Mass Sat. 11am in the Church. Int. Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions to the American Cancer Society.
