Paul L. Helker

Paul Leo Helker, 88 of Media, passed away suddenly on October 14, 2024.

Paul was the son of the late George and Marian Helker and was raised in Drexel Hill. He attended West Catholic High School and after graduation, served in the Marine Corps.

He spent his entire career with the Bell Telephone company and was an active member of St. Kevins Parish in Springfield, PA.  He enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, especially at the beach. An avid fisherman, he taught many the art of catching flounder. Friends and neighbors will remember him as someone always ready to lend a hand in home repair and renovation projects.

Beloved husband of Geraldine (Corr); Loving Father to Christopher, Maria Hare (Steve) and Michael; Cherished Grandfather to 10 Grandchildren.  He is predeceased by his brothers, Robert, Ronald, and Williiam, and his granddaughter Corrine. He is survived by many brothers and sister-in laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and more.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial service: Sunday, November 17, 11:30 AM at Wesley Enhanced Living, 100 Halcyon Drive, Media, PA 19063.  Interment private.
