Patricia D. (Milnamow) Micolucci

Patricia D. Micolucci, 82, of Villanova (formerly of Springfield and Collingdale, PA) passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024.

Patricia was the daughter of the late James F. and Catherine Milnamow and was born in Philadelphia. She graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School.

Patricia most enjoyed her family and was very proud of all her children. The early days were non-stop as she managed their hectic schedules and, along with her husband, attended the many, many different school and sports events. She supported her children by working both in and out of the home. As a mother of seven, she learned to dance well enough to become an instructor and professional dancer in her 30s.

Later in life she enjoyed the quiet days of retirement with her husband playing Scrabble by the pool until a grandchild came by for a visit. Patricia continued learning and growing throughout her life, loving to read, travel, and go to museums. As her children grew and left the house, she found a great love for her many dogs – especially her Weimaraners. She also became an avid cyclist on the trails out to Valley Forge and later turned to walking for miles where her husband would miraculously know just where to find her (without a cell phone)! She saw opportunities in life and took most every one she could to help her family thrive. Sending the five boys to Haverford School, she knew how education would improve their lives and sports would keep them focused and healthy. She loved the family trips to Florida in the winter and one time took the trip of a lifetime spending weeks traveling through Europe just with her husband - the love of her life. It was hard after her husband passed and she never really wanted to leave the house they worked so hard to get to in Villanova. She smiled so brightly when “dad” bought an older convertible Mercedes. She would have her scarf waving in the wind and oversized sunglasses on going for a ride. She loved those rides as she did when the kids were young and all loaded up in the station wagon, going down country roads and singing whatever songs the kids could think of next… being free as she is now, in heaven.

Patricia is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Daniel J. Micolucci, Sr. and her brother Mark; Loving Mother of five sons, Daniel, Mark, Matthew, Jonas, Michael and two daughters, Donna McGinn, Nicole Rhoades. Cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings, Mary Lombardi and James Milnamow, Jr.
