Nina R. Vanella, 71, of Clifton Heights, PA passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Agatha “Ida” (nee Rodolico) Moffa. She was employed as a teacher’s aide, making a positive impact on the lives of all the children she assisted.
Nina dedicated her life to caring for her family, and her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She was known for her warmth, compassion, and willingness to always put others before herself.
She enjoyed spending her summers at the beach and boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ, where countless memories were made. She cooked amazing meals and always made time for friends and family. Above all, she cherished the moments she spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Gina (Jim) Avitalle and Marisa Vanella, cherished grandchildren, Vincent and Sophia, along with her beloved cousins and extended family who will miss her dearly. Her passing was preceded by her loving husband Anthony Vanella.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, May 9, 2025 5pm O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Service 7pm in the Funeral Home. Burial private.
