Nicholas Gross, Jr.

Nicholas Gross, Jr., 96, of Broomall, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on October 12, 2023.

Nicholas was the son of the late Nicholas and Virginia (Ingenito) Gross, Sr. and was born in Philadelphia, PA.

Upon completing high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII, where he was stationed in Japan to assist with the post-war effort.   He was honorably discharged in 1946.

A longtime resident of Broomall, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed traveling and time spent with his family

Beloved husband of 59 years of the late Elizabeth (Turco), loving Father of Nicholas (Joan) Gross, III; cherished Grandfather of Brian (Libby), Jennifer (Matt) and Kevin, and adopted great-grandpop to Andrew and Ryan.   Known fondly as Uncle Nick, he is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday, October 17, 2023 9am St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd. Broomall, PA 19008 and to his Funeral Mass Tuesday 10am in the Church. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
