Nicholas J. Darabant, 82, of Secane, PA passed away peacefully on November 5th, 2021.
Nicholas was the son of the late János and Julianna Darabant, from Budapest, Hungary. Nicholas immigrated to America in 1956 when he was only 17 years old. He was a trade school graduate and studied to become a Master Tool and Die Maker & Machinist. Nicholas worked at the Franklin Mint in Middletown Township, PA for 14 years and for Chalmers and Kubeck Incorporated in Aston, PA for 26 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, walks around the neighborhood, international travel - especially to visit his family and relatives overseas. Nicholas loved to go fishing and owned several boats throughout the years. He was also an avid animal lover and cherished all of his dogs that he cared for over the years: Bingo, Dusty, Cody, Buddy and currently, Leo.
Beloved husband of Joanne Darabant; Loving Father to Christian, Justin (Rosita), Elysia (Mark) and Marissa (Paul); Cherished Grandfather to Matthew, Serena, Daniel, Nicholas, Claudia, Zachary and Elijah. Also survived by his sister Julianna, currently living in Budapest, Hungary. He is predeceased by his father, János Darabant and his mother, Julianna Darabant. He is also survived by his cousin and many nieces and nephews.
