Neil Carey

Neil Carey, age 71, of Havertown, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 20th at Chester County Hospital.

Neil was the son of the late Edward and Mary Carey. He was one of four siblings. Neil graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School in 1972 and went on to work in the restaurant industry for years.

Neil enjoyed good conversation and laughter with family and friends, old movies, and good music. He was gifted athletically and intellectually. He was loving, kind, funny, and above all else, strived to be a good person despite life’s challenges.

Neil is survived by his siblings, Marybeth and Robert Carey. He is predeceased by his brother, Edward Carey. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Candace, and his nieces and nephews, Mary, Nicole, Nathanie, Vaughn and Avery.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Neil’s life and join his burial service on Saturday, October 4th at 10:30am at The Oakland’s Cemetery located in West Chester, PA. 1042 Pottstown Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
