Nancy S. "Sue" (Amheiser) Ferris

Nancy Suzann "Sue" Ferris, 85, of Glen Mills, Pa passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2021 at Sunrise at Granite Run. She was the daughter of the late Charles Carroll Glass & Eleanor Amheiser born February 22, 1936 in Altoona, Pa.

Sue earned her GED and continued her education by receiving her realtor license. Her Real Estate career spanned over four decades. She was a member of Tri-County Suburban Realtors at Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach in Media, Pa for the past seven years. She loved Christmas! Following Thanksgiving her husband would refer to her as Mrs. Santa until the New Year approached. She enjoyed spending time with all of her children, grand-children, great-grandchildren, & great-great-grandchild. Sue was a longtime friend of Louise through Al-Anon recovery programs. She was quick to offer help, guidance, and wisdom to anyone in need. She loved gardening and travel. Sue was an avid reader and self proclaimed award winning author.

Beloved wife to her late husband John W. "Bill" Ferris of 55 ½ years. She was a loving mother to her children; Robert Hough (Cindy), Marsha Kayfield (Ron), Gerald Ferris (Roberta), Sheila Whiteside (Bob), Nancy Wood and the late Bruce Ferris. Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Christy, Travis, Matthew, Brigid, Bobbie, Marcus, Candace, Jason, Kenneth, John, the late Ryan and Amber and great grandmother of 28. She is survived by her sister Beverly Seibert. Niece: Susan Schubert (Doug), Nephew: Elmer Seibert, Jr (Flamingo)
