Michael J. Giammarco

Michael J. Giammarco, 71 years old, 1/18/49-8/16/20. Mike is survived by his four sons, Mike (Kelli), Brian, Paul (Leah), Steven and Mother of his sons, Ellen Domaszewicz-Giammarco . Mike is also survived by his best friend and life partner Helene Hill, her children Jennifer and Michael Schneider, Chris and Victoria Hill. His beloved grandchildren that brought him so much love and happiness, Ryan, Aiden, Julia, Gabriel, Dominic, Joey, Nick, Aubrey and Isla, along with many dear cousins, extended family and friends. Mike was the proud son of the late Mike and Rose Giammarco.

Mike is originally from Our Lady of Consolation Parish in Tacony. Mike was a graduate of Father Judge and attended West Chester University. He was a member of the National Guard and served 7 years during the Vietnam War. Mike worked at A & P through High School and College and he worked his way up to be a Merchandiser and a Manager of various departments. After graduating and serving in the military, he worked full time as a Merchandise Buyer, Marketing Manager at Fleming, Super Value, Bazzutos and White Rose and has many friends in the industry. Most recently, and one of his most satisfying positions, was working with Rover and assisting children with disabilities.

Mike loved spending time with family and friends and loved all Philadelphia sports, Eagles, Flyers, Sixers and Phillies.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Friday, August 21st, 10:30am Saint Peter and Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd. West Chester PA 19380. Burial private.

We are saddened by Mike’s sudden passing, we love you and want to hug and kiss you all, but social distancing and face coverings will be required. We hope to safely get together with all of you at a future date to celebrate Mike’s life.
