Maxine N. Grossman

Maxine Grossman, 77, Of Blessed Memory, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 4, 2021 with her two sons by her side.

Maxine was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother (Bubbe), sister, and friend. She was born and raised in Philadelphia. Maxine was a loving mother devoted to raising her two sons. She later entered the med-tech profession as a Phlebotomist. She worked for many years at Mount Nittany Hospital in State College, PA. There, she brought her gentle spirit and caring demeanor to her colleagues and patients. Her colleague wrote of her that she was “a loyal and hard working person who cared about people and did her best to make them feel like they mattered. She made the lab a better place.”

Maxine is predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Herb Grossman, also of Philadelphia, and her sister Marilyn. Maxine is survived by her sister, Ann, her sons Mitchell (Lilly) and Dan, and her grandson Zachary.

She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be greatly missed. A graveside burial service was held at Mount Sharon Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
