Matthew Mingey Obituary
Matthew “Matt” F. Mingey, 57, of Springfield, PA passed away on June 18, 2026.
Matt was the son of the late Francis and Patricia (O'Neill) Mingey and was born in Darby, PA. He attended Saint Dorothy grade school before graduating from Cardinal O’Hara (‘86) and Saint Joseph’s University (‘90). He was a member of Saint Kevin’s Parish.
He was the beloved husband of Susan (Martin) Mingey, celebrating 32 years of marriage; loving father to Matt Jr. and Alexis; cherished brother to Michael (Lynn), Joe (Pam), Mark, and Trish; and adored uncle and friend to many, many more.
Matt spent his entire career at Brinker Simpson & Company, working as CPA and Partner for over 30 years, supporting businesses across Delaware County and the Philadelphia area.
He was a dedicated Philadelphia sports and golf fan. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and will be remembered for the countless memories and laughs over a cold Coors Light.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Wednesday, June 24, 2026 6:00pm O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and Thursday morning 9:30am St. Kevin Church, 200 W. Sproul Rd. Springfield, PA 19064. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30am in the Church. Interment will be private.
