Maryann C. Schalleur

Maryann Carmel Schalleur, 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 8, 2024.

Maryann was the daughter of the late Walter and Katharine Schalleur and was born in Philadelphia on December 4, 1943. She was a proud graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School, Immaculata University, and earned her Masters in Education from Penn State. She was a Republican Committee Woman, A Springfield Lioness and a beloved educator at Interboro High School until she retired.

Beloved Mother to Ilona Ebbert (Shawn), she is also survived by her brothers, William (Kathleen) Schalleur and Walter Schalleur, and sister, Denise Klein. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Christopher (Jennifer) Schalleur, David (Katie) Schalleur, Ashley (Mike) Davis and Andrew Schalleur. She is also survived by countless friends, colleagues and the thousands of students whose lives she undoubtedly enriched.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Friday, December 13, 2024 9:30am Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
