MaryAnne M. (Dolhancryk) Quinn

MaryAnne M. (Dolhancryk) Quinn, 70, of Clifton Heights, PA passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024 surrounded by her family. 

MaryAnne was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anne (Keane) Dolhancryk and was born in Darby, PA. She was a member of the St. Cyril and Sacred Heart Parishes. She worked for over 25 years for the William Penn School district, and was the sole caretaker of her loving husband Richard.  These however, are just a few simple details of MaryAnne’s life, the bullet points. In order to truly convey what this woman meant to the world, we need to dive a little deeper. To know MaryAnne was to love MaryAnne. She came into this world with her twin Gerry by her side, and of course on her mother’s birthday, because if MaryAnne was going to do something, she was going to do it her way. She loved her eight siblings more than anyone in this world, and then took on the role of “Aunt Mare'' to her twenty-seven nieces and nephews with every ounce of love she had. She traveled the world as a young woman, but her path led her back to East Lansdowne, where she met the love of her life, Richard. Married for over 35 years, MaryAnne and Rich were a staple in their community, opening their hearts and their doors to any and all that needed them. MaryAnne worked for the William Penn School District as a bus driver, and later for Upper Darby, as a crossing guard. In true MaryAnne fashion, she had to do these jobs her way, and that meant with the fullest and most giving of hearts. She brought food to children who waited for the bus hungry, clothes to those who didn’t have enough. MaryAnne was the definition of selfless. She lived her beautiful life with an open heart and open arms, taking care of every person that crossed her path. She will be truly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Beloved wife of Richard Quinn; Loving Step Mother of Richard Jr.; Cherished Sister of Thomas (Marijane), Paul (Victoria), twin brother Gerry, Dianne (Bob) Munn, JoanAnne (Stephen) McLarnon, Mark (Margaret), James (Josephine) and the late Michael. Also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, April 19, 2024 9:30am St. Kevin Church, 200 W. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 11:00am in the Church. Interment to follow at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
