Mary Tremper, beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and educator passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 74. She was born on May 14, 1950, in Rochester, NY, and most recently resided in Lansdowne, PA.
Mary had a passion for learning and was an avid reader. She enjoyed challenging herself with crossword puzzles and staying active by playing pickleball. Her love for the beach brought her joy and tranquility. However, nothing compared to the happiness she found in spending time with her family.
Mary was a devoted grandmother and could always be found cheering on her grandson, Will, at his soccer and lacrosse games, or playing with her granddaughter, Natalie. Her enthusiasm and support were unwavering.
Professionally, Mary had a fulfilling career in Catholic education. She dedicated her talents to teaching at Saint Andrew School, where she made a lasting impact on countless students. Her passion for education led her to become the principal of Saint Christopher, where she continued to shape young minds and foster a nurturing environment.
Mary was known for her strength, faithfulness, and kind-hearted nature. Her love and care extended to all those she met. She had a zest for life and brought joy to those around her with her fun-loving spirit.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mary was a dedicated member of Saint Andrew The Apostle Parish, where she found solace and community.
Mary, the devoted Mother of Elizabeth (Kenneth) Tremper-Cohen and the late Peter Tremper, cherished Grandmother of Josie, Will, and Natalie. Mary will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday May 23, 2024 9:30am St. Andrew the Apostle Church, School Lane and Foss Ave. Drexel Hill, PA 19026 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am, in the Church. Int. St. Denis Cemetery.
