Mary E. (Burke) Burbidge

Mary E. (Burke) Burbidge, 80, of Claymont, DE formerly of Southwest Philadelphia passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026.

Mary was the daughter of the late James and Eleanor Burke and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School. Mary was a member at Holy Rosary Church in Claymont, DE. She loved going to play bingo and playing the slots in AC. When her heart Joe was alive they traveled the world together. 

Beloved wife of over 50years to the late Joseph "Jason" Burbidge; Loving Mother of Jason Burbidge, Michele (Dan) Markowitz, and Nadine (Tom) Bruhn; Cherished Grandmother of Kaitlyn, Brandon, Makenna, Logan, and Gavin. Also survived by her brother, James Burke. She is predeceased by her brother Michael. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Tuesday, February 3, 2026 9:30am St. Barnabas Church, 6300 Buist Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19142 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Int. Holy Cross Cemetery.
