Margaret M. "Peggy" (Eganey) Kauffman

Margaret M. "Peggy" (Eganey) Kauffman, 70, of Lansdowne, PA passed away peacefully on July 4, 2024.

Peggy was the daughter of the late Eugene V. and Mary V. (App) Eganey. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Colwyn, PA. She graduated from West Catholic Girls High School. Continuing with her education, Peggy went on to achieve a Bachlor Degree from Delaware County Community College and a Masters Degree in Education from Widener University College. She was employed with the Main Line Health System for many years and provided dedicated service as a Lab clerk at Lankenau Hospital also as a Human Resources Representative. She also worked at Bryn Mawr Hospital in the Volunteer Department and often spoke of how much she enjoyed working with all the wonderful volunteers. Peggy loved to spend time with all her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland. Peggy had a very caring, thoughtful and generous heart and she was like that with everyone. 

Beloved wife of the late James D. Kauffman; Loving sister of Robert (Gloria) Eganey, Michael (Mary) Eganey and Tricia (Henry) Kauffunger. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Saturday, September 7, 2024 10:00am O'Leary Funeral Home 640 E. Springfield Road Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Service 11:00am in the Funeral Home. Family and friends please wear something green.
