Margaret M. "Peggy" (Moore) Karolyi

Margaret “Peggy” Karolyi, age 81, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025.

Born in Darby, Pennsylvania, Peggy was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Moore. She was a proud graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School. Peggy found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her family, tending to her garden, and reading a good book.

She was the beloved wife of the late Laszlo “Louis” Karolyi, and the devoted mother of Patti Karolyi (Michael), Lisa Monastra (Dennis), and Christine Karolyi. She was a cherished Mom-Mom to Nick, Brooke, Matthew, Devon, Denny, and Nicole, and a loving great-grandmother to Greyson.

She was predeceased by her brother, Theodore Moore. Peggy is also survived by her sister, Patricia Boyd of New Jersey, and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA 19064, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the Church. Interment will follow at Fernwood Cemetery.
