Mara J. Bellew

Mara J. Bellew on December 19, 2020, age 86, of Springfield, Pa.

Mr. Bellew was born in Philadelphia. He was a proud graduate of West Catholic High School and St. Joseph's University. He served in the United States Army. He had a long and rewarding career in Accounting and Finance with the Gulf Oil Corporation and Conrail. He was a member of St. Kevin Catholic Church in Springfield and frequently attended Mass at St Francis in Springfield. He was a former member of St Joseph's Catholic Church in Collingdale. Mr. Bellew was a member of Briarcliffe American Legion Post 761. Upon his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, playing cards and exercising at the Healthplex in Springfield.

Beloved husband of the late Helen C. (nee Touey); loving father of Thomas M. (Eileen), Joseph J. (Kelly), Helene M. (Lawrence) Schramm, Brian P (Amanda), Kevin M. (Lisa), and Sean J. (MaryJo); Pop-Pop to Thomas, Susan (Daniel), Lindsay, Melissa, Timothy, Brenna, Aidan, Patrick, Brady, Quinn, Madison, and Elle; Great Grandfather to Mary Kate and Claire; brother of Asa, Ira, Rita Senberg, and the late Theresa; brother in law of Joseph (Theresa)Touey, Paul (Grace), Sr. Kathleen Touey I.H.M., MaryAnn (John) Flaherty, Joan (John) Gallagher and the late Anna M. (Al), Vincent (Annette), John (Claire), Charles (Jean),Thomas and Pat.
