Lucy M. (Ferrini) Mashura, 95, of Cape May Court House, NJ passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025.
Lucy was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Benedetti) Ferrini and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from South Philadelphia High School, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from West Chester University. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish and St. Casmir's Parish, Woodbine, NJ. Lucy dearly loved, nurtured and enjoyed her family and friends, was an extraordinary elementary school teacher, and an excellent baker known for her custom cakes and cookies. Lucy was a professed and exemplary Member of the Secular Franciscan Order, and she was truly passionate in modeling the Love of Our Lord and Savior toward everyone she encountered. Lucy was simply a humble inspiration in all she accomplished.
Beloved wife of the late John J. Mashura; Loving Mother of Denise (Louis) Delos Santos, John (Joan) Mashura, Richard (Renee) Mashura, Lucy Ann Mashura, Jane Mashura-Leddy, and the late Charles R. Mashura; dearly cherished Grandmother to 12 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sisters, Lena Martorelli and Lea Perkins, and brother John Ferrini who passed on before her. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Tuesday, February 4, 2025 10am Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 11am in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery to follow.
