Louise H. (Farinella) Mergliano

Louise H. (Farinella) Mergliano, 85, of Folsom, PA  peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by her family on December 11, 2024.

Louise was the beloved daughter of the late James and Sophie (Petrilli) Farinella and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia and began her career at the Quartermaster as a secretary. Later she worked for Delaware County Human Services where she retired. Louise loved nothing more than spending time with and raising her kids. It was her favorite job!   She fulfilled her later years organizing trips for St. Kevin’s Pioneers Senior Club in Springfield, PA.  She enjoyed and cherished all her travel buddies. They brought her great joy!

Throughout the years Louise had a passion for roller skating, bowling, dancing the walz, traveling the world (especially to the best beaches- hoping for a great sunset).  She loved the Jersey Shore and spent much time there with family & friends over the years.   She loved her Big Band Music, Classic Movies, Broadway Musicals, Trivia and anything chocolate!  She enjoyed the little things.

Mother-in-law of Eileen Colangelo. Cherished Mom-Mom to Sierra, Kimberli, Neil, Sarah & Jimmy. 

Also survived by many wonderful friends & neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday, December 18, 2024 9:30am St. Eugene Church, 200 S. Oak Ave. Primos, PA 19018 and to her Funeral Mass 11:00am in the Church. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
