Laurice (Philiposian) Barakat

Laurice Barakat (nee Philiposian) 87, of Clifton Heights, PA passed away May 29, 2021. Born in Jerusalem in 1933, Laurice worked many years in food service at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, walking outdoors and spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Wadie Barakat; loving mother of Maha (George), Lina, Hala, Rima and the late Amal and Walid Barakat; cherished grandmother of Larissa, Rory, Brendan, Ashley, Robert, and Amber. She is survived by her siblings Laila Dogum, Elias, Rudy, Mihran, Tony, Paul, and the late Vahan Philiposian. Also survived by her daughter in law, Rosemary, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday June 3, 2021 9:30am, Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Int. SS.
