Kristin L. (Walker) Carrea

Kristin L. Carrea (nee Walker), 50, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away suddenly on October 10, 2021.

Kristin was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of Nancy Walker (nee Halpin) and the late Joseph Walker. She was a graduate of Cherry Hill East High School. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Villanova University and her master's degree as a nurse practitioner from Kennesaw State University.  Kris' greatest enjoyment in life came from caring for her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs and family. She truly personified the saying, "make a house a home." She opened her home to all and loved spending time entertaining friends and family both here and at her family mountain house. Kris was an avid skier who loved spending time outdoors and playing Candy Crush. Her cooking and organizational skills never ceased to amaze anyone.  She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all. Although a retired nurse practitioner, she never stopped taking care of others. Kris was incredibly selfless giving back to her community by donating blood regularly and volunteering at her children's schools. Her sense of humor was appreciated by everyone who knew her. 

Beloved wife of Peter J. Carrea; Loving Mother to Katie, Ryan and Emily; Also survived by her siblings, Joseph Walker, Jr., Andrew Walker, and Kim Walker Haggarty. She is predeceased by her brother Patrick Walker who passed on before her. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and more.
