Kenneth A. Brown

Kenneth A. Brown, 76, of Drexel Hill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. He was born on October 5, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA and was the son of the late William Nice Brown and Lillian (nee Kilgallen) Kometa. 

Ken grew up in the Oxford Circle area of Philadelphia and graduated from Frankford High School in 1963. He was a proud Army Veteran, and a respected Philadelphia Police Officer. He loved fishing, cooking, country music, NASCAR, his Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, and of course, his ice-cold beer!

Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Alice M. (nee Maraini); two children, Lisa K. Brown and Kenneth Brown Jr; two grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda Lindsay; his sister, Diane Szombathy (Kurt); sister-in-law, Donna Brown, and his best-friend, Jim Kirk. He was preceded in death by his brother, the late Joseph Brown and his sister, the late Nancy E. Martin.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Thursday, July 7, 2022 11:00am O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064 and to his Funeral Service 12:00pm at the Funeral Home. Int. private.
